Stretching along the Siagne River for nearly 9km (5.6 miles), connecting the city centre to the coast.
the banks of the Siagne River are regularly used by those who enjoy hiking as well as joggers and families. The vegetation is dense, with over 2,000 trees and shrubs representing some fifty different species. All along the way, the footpath crosses ‘Port Inland’, top dry port in Europe with a capacity of 800 berths and able to accommodate, by the month or by the year, motorboats up to 6 tonnes. There is also the Rowing Club Cannes-Mandelieu where expert rowers train and where champions emerged, like Sébastien Vieilledent, Olympic gold-medal winner in Sydney in 2004.

Play area, ‘Body Boomers’
All along the banks of the Siagne River, there are places specially dedicated to children’s games. Across from ‘Port Inland’ there is Parc Camille, a peaceful bucolic link between the two sides of the Siagne River with a playground for tiny tots, and the Alexia garden.
For parents and sportspersons, an outdoor ‘Body Boomers’ offers a wide range of fitness devices. A few fishermen take advantage of this haven of peace, as they attempt to catch sea bass having strayed upriver.
For family getaways, don’t forget to collect your “Randoland” itinerary beforehand from the Tourist Office in Mandelieu to do a treasure hunt along the Siagne with your family!

Length: 2,850m (9,350 ft.)
Vegetation: buddleias, Ceanothus, dogwood, hawthorn, hazel, pear, apple, poplar trees, Cotinus, Osmanthus and Olearias. There is also a wide variety of grasses: stipa, fountaingrass, silvergrass, Carex, fescue.
