The City of Mandelieu-La Napoule is committed to facilitating access
Access to tourist sites and establishments is one of the city’s priorities in this area. The Tourist Bureau has equipped its offices and many other initiatives have been taken. In particular in publications aiming to help disabled persons in town.
National ‘Tourism & Handicap’ label
motor, visual, auditory and mental
This is proof of the concrete commitment and the guarantee of an efficient welcome, adapted to the indispensable needs of disabled persons. The ‘Tourism & Handicap Label’ is a response to requests from persons with a disability who wish to be able to choose their holiday venue and activities freely.
The Tourist & Convention Bureau of Mandelieu-La Napoule obtained this Label for 4 handicaps:
motor, visual, hearing and mental
For our Reception Desk: at 806 Avenue de Cannes, behind the coach station. We offer special access with a ramp and tactile strips to guide visitors. The office is spacious with counters identified by theme and appropriate signage. It offers a hearing loop for the hearing-impaired, documents in braille and Arial 16 for the visually impaired.
For the Convention & Exhibition Centre: this recently renovated building (5,000m² on a single level) hosts many events: trade fairs, conventions and congresses. It can accommodate disabled persons, thanks to the necessary tools and facilities to make it fully accessible.
In Mandelieu-La Napoule, this label has also been granted to:
- L’hôtel IBIS 3 étoiles, Bd des Ecureuils – Tél. : 04 93 90 43 46
for mental and motor labels
